Lisa Alessi-Capitano was formerly an educator  with Hillsborough County Schools in Tampa, Florida. Her background includes 12  years of success training and coaching professionals in building and maintaining effective collaborative relationships within a diverse work  environment. As a talented presenter, Ms. Alessi-Capitano continues to seek and embrace the venture of inspiring and igniting the spark for a  meaningful life experience. Her focus on the "realities of life" allows  audiences to become engaged with her passion for diversity and communication  within and beyond the workplace.  Ms. Alessi-Capitano is an excellent communicator, a strategic planner and a committed collaborator.

Lisa and her husband Sam, are devoted parents of a wise-spirited son. Lisa is invigorated by her motto "Just an extra-ordinary me" . She believes  that each of us can exceed our best if we are willing to add "extra" to what's just "ordinary".
